Abstract
The dynamic creep of amalgam was investigated in view of its possible relationship to the clinically observed extrusion of amalgam restorations. It was found that different alloys vary widely in their dynamic-creep characteristics; that higher mercury content demonstrates increased dynamic creep, and that static creep correlates well to dynamic creep. Keywords
