Abstract
The first four moments of the Reynolds stress fluctuations , and of velocity components and were computed using digital data processing techniques. The results show that over a moderate range of Reynolds number (based on momentum thickness) Reynolds stress fluctuations are intermittent and strongly skewed, while the and fluctuation components separately are not.
