Abstract

The µ-peroxo-ruthenium(IV)-dioxygen complex [{Ru(OH)(edta)}₂(O₂)](H₄edta = ethylenediaminetetra-acetic acid) acts as an electron relay in a photochemical hydrogen and oxygen generating system with loaded CdS dispersion.
