Integrity bases for the crystal point groups

Abstract

Integrity bases are derived for the invariants of all the crystal point groups. A recurrence relation is given for the character decomposition of the reps D^(L) of the rotation group, and is used to discuss the odd parity invariants of the group O. The groups O and C_infinity are used to illustrate the extension of integrity basis methods to functions not belonging to the identity rep of a group.
