Abstract
Traps, about 6 per acre, baited with sex lure extracted from female pink bollworm moths, Pectinophora gossypiella (Saunders), failed to reduce a field infestation though 24,666 males were collected in a 6-month period. Lack of field isolation and use of too few traps were probably responsible for the failure. The study posed several questions to be answered by future research. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
