A Chebyshev series method for the numerical solution of Fredholm integral equations

Abstract

An investigation has been made into the solution of non-singular Fredholm integral equations by means of determining directly the coefficients in the Chebyshev series expansion of the unknown function. An error analysis, valid under fairly restrictive conditions, is included together with two worked examples.
