Pheochromocytoma and Neurofibromatosis

Abstract
THE association of pheochromocytoma and the neurocutaneous syndromes is widely recognized. It is estimated that neurofibromatosis is present with approximately 5 per cent of pheochromocytomas. Glushien, Mansuy and Littman,1 in 1953, summarized the literature to that time and reported a total of 18 cases, including 1 of their own, in which these entities appeared together. Knox and Slessor2 added a similar case in 1955.
