Abstract
Supersaturated aqueous solutions of citric acid kept quiescent at a constant temperature are found to develop concentration gradients with the highest concentrations in the lower regions. This unusual behaviour is considered as supporting evidence for the existence of molecular clusters in solutions. Keywords
