Abstract
Precision measurements of the x-ray lattice constant of pure BaO were made at temperatures between 8°K and 435°K with a back reflection symmetrical focussing camera. Room temperature measurements of colored BaO indicate a contraction of the lattice associated with the presence of excess barium. Keywords
