Abstract
Complete solid solutions were formed in the system of (1 - x)Pb(Fe2/3W1/3)O3-xPb(Co1/2/W1/2)O3. Crystallo-graphic, dielectric, magnetic properties and Mossbauer spectra were measured for the system. It was concluded from our measurements that the compounds in the range of 0.1 ≤ × ≤ 0.7 are ferroelectric-ferrimagnets, having the ordered arrangement of Fe3+, Co2+ and W6+ ions. Both dielectric and magnetic phase diagrams were proposed. The system and the variation of the magnetic Curie or Neel temperature, with the composition, was discussed, based on the hypotheses of Goodenough et al. and Gilleo. The shapes of the Mossbauer spectra were also discussed using our proposed model. Keywords
