Abstract
Reaction of a substituted allylsilane with N-chlorosulfonyl isocyanate at 0 °C takes place in an unexpected manner to give a [3 + 2] cycloaddition product, a β-silyl-γ-lactam, rather than a [2 + 2] cycloadduct.Keywords
