Anomalous Production of Direct Electrons at 10, 15, and 24 GeV/c

Abstract
We find significant direct e+ production in hadron collisions at 10, 15, and 24 GeV/c and direct e production at 24 GeV/c, at θc.m.=90° at 0.5<~PT<~1.5 GeV/c. The eπ ratio rises at low PT, and in all cases exceeds the level predicted from known sources for PT1 GeV/c.
