Abstract
An operation for obtaining additional length in order to achieve end-to-end anastomosis of cervical trachea without excessive suture line tension is accomplished by sectioning of suprahyoid musculature in order to obtain release from above. The technique is described, illustrated, and compared to other methods for release of tension on cervical trachea. Keywords
