Abstract
Growth inhibition by the antibiotic technique has been studied, using 194 members of the Enterobacteriaceae. Shigella strains were the most sensitive. Strains of the same type were sensitive to the same degree, indicating a possible correlation between biochemical properties, or antigenic structure, and antibiotic sensitivity. Keywords
