Abstract
An explicit construction of a complete coherent-state representation of a charged relativistic boson field is given. We apply the results to the emission of soft, charged, massless bosons in a scattering process. We obtain a closed expression for the total transition probability for the source to create radiation in a given energy interval and in the case of no self-interaction among the bosons. Keywords
