On invariant group integrals in lattice QCD

Abstract
A closed expression of the SU(3) [and U(3)] one-link invariant group integral in lattice gauge theories is derived. The U(3) result is compared to the expression recently derived by Brower, Rossi, and Tan. Applications of our results are briefly touched upon.Keywords
