Folded Molecules in Lamellas Crystallized from Molten Polymers

Abstract
Single crystals of polypropylene consisting of lamellas have been grown from the melt. Electron diffraction patterns indicate that the molecules are folded within the lamellas and have crystallized in a hexagonal unit cell.Keywords
