Abstract
Cross sections for the and reactions have been measured in the energy region from 0.4 to 28 GeV. The () cross section decreases to a value of ≈50 mb in the GeV region. The () cross section shows a significant rise between 0.4 and 1 GeV and then a gradual decrease. Correlations between these data and the total cross sections for and interactions are discussed.
