Abstract
The bioavailability of dyphylline from sustained-release tablets studied in 7 normal subjects given a single dose of the drug was 67.8% of that from conventional tablets. In 3 subjects given 40 mg/kg dyphylline as sustained-release tablets every 8 h for 4 days, serum dyphylline concentrations were maintained above 7.88 .mu.g/ml once steady state was achieved. No adverse effects were noted, though in 1 subject peak serum dyphylline concentrations reached 30 .mu.g/ml after multiple doses. This publication has 10 references indexed in Scilit:
