Abstract
A time-dependent quantum theory of multiphoton ionization and dissociation is presented. The novel and crucial feature is the use of Floquet amplitudes from semiclassical radiation theory in an -matrix theory based upon molecular -matrix states dressed by photon number states. A simple numerical example is presented (time dependence of the one-photon dissociation yield from a square well).
