COMPARATIVE PATHOLOGY OF SOUTH AFRICAN JAGZIEKTE AND MONTANA PROGRESSIVE PNEUMONIA OF SHEEP

Abstract

This article includes a table giving the epidemiology, symptoms, prognosis, prophylaxis, etiology and pathology, and 12 micro-photographs of the lesions of these 2 diseases. The initial changes occurring in the inter-alveolar tissue, the subsequent proliferation of epithelium, and the pneumonia are of the same character and apparently follow the same sequence in both. There is no precise information regarding the organisms concerned in either of the diseases.
