Abstract
Taking into account the anomalous magnetic moment of the electron by adding the socalled Pauli anomalous interaction term to the usual Dirac Hamiltonian for an electron in a constant magnetic field , we conclude that spontaneous pair creation may occur for values of of the order of , a "critical field" beyond which classical electro-dynamics breaks down.
