Abstract
Recent measurements on stopping power of aluminum have been continued with the stopping materials Be, Cu, Ag, Pt, and Au. The method of measuring stopping powers utilizing a thermometric compensation technique working at liquid-helium temperature has been used. Results are obtained with a standard deviation of 0.3%, and agree with other published experimental results and with Bichsel's tabulated values within their stated errors. Keywords
