Abstract
The lysozyme, lipase, and ribonuclease activities of milks of human, cow, goat, sheep, and sow were compared to assess the possible significance of their presence in milk. Human milk contained lysozyme in the largest quantity, followed by goat, cow, and sheep''s milk. No lysozyme activity was found in sow''s milk. The lipase activity was the highest in sow''s milk, followed by cow, goat, human, and sheep milk. Cow''s milk possessed the highest RN activity and sow''s milk the lowest. This publication has 7 references indexed in Scilit:
