The Selection of Preferred Systems for the HPLC of Basic Drugs. Application to the Separation of Antihistamine Drugs

Abstract
Two preferred systems (combination of a stationary and a mobile phase) for the HPLC analysis of basic drugs are selected out of 15 practical alternatives. The same nitrile stationary phase can successfully be combined with a polar and a nonpolar eluent. The preferred systems are applied to the separation of antihistamine drugs with excellent results.
