Abstract
Δ5,6-Steroids react with iodosobenzene, acetic acid and sodium azide to yield the corresponding 7α-azidosteroids. For example 7α-azidocholest-5-en-3β-ol acetate (2c) was obtained from 3β-cholesteryl acetate (1c) using above reaction.Keywords
