Abstract
Ferromagnetic amorphous Fe‐B‐O films deposited by sputtering take a heterogeneous structure which consists of an amorphous Fe‐B alloy and an oxide B2O3 glass. The large saturation magnetization originates from the ferromagnetic Fe‐B alloy and the high electrical resistivity from the structure separated into metal and oxide phases. An anomalous change in the magnetic and electrical properties at about 46 at. % of Fe is due to changing of a continuous Fe‐B matrix into many particles isolated by B2O3.Keywords
