Abstract
A new technique for optical sampling and time stretching of an analogue signal is presented. The signal is ‘wavelength stamped’ by a chirped optical pulse. An arrayed waveguide grating provides parallel time-interleaved samples as well as a time-stretched serial sampled waveform. Keywords
