The Stability of Lactic Dehydrogenase in Serum

Abstract
The stability of lactic dehydrogenase was demonstrated at temperatures of 25° and 37°. The enzyme, in 80 per cent of the cases, was stable for at least eight days at room temperature and seven days at 37°. Bacterial contamination may have caused an alteration in one case. For purposes of transportation, specimens can be handled safely without any special packaging or preservation.
