Abstract
The clinical manifestations of “swimmers’ itch” are principally associated with an intensely pruritic dermatitis that lasts five to ten days and becomes more severe with subsequent exposure. Prevention is directed toward control of the molluscan hosts and their supporting environment. Treatment is symptomatic.Keywords
