Abstract
In this study, a statistical framework is introduced to assess the suitability of various state estimation (SE) methodologies for the purpose of distribution system state estimation (DSSE). The existing algorithms adopted in the transmission system SE are reconfigured for the distribution system. The performance of three SE algorithms has been examined and discussed in standard 12-bus and 95-bus UK-GDS network models. Keywords
