Abstract
We have for the first time located and identified a four-quasiparticle isomer in a deformed nucleus. Its energy may be used as a test for the effective interaction between quasiparticles. We can account for the energy quite well with a simple -function interaction, but not with an interaction derived from Brueckner theory.
