Comparison of Age-Specific Mortality From Breast Cancer in Males in the United States and Japan 2

Abstract

Mortality data on breast cancer in males from the United States and Japan were analyzed. The logarithm of the mortality rate increased in a linear fashion with the logarithm of age and had a slope of about 5. Mortality in Japan was about one-fourth that in the United States, but the relationship to age was similar
