Abstract
Nuttall and Warburton (1911, pp. 105–13) give a detailed account of the systematic survey of the family Ixodidae and recognise nine genera in the family. They consider Aponomma Neumann as a subgenus of Amblyomma Koch, but I consider it a valid genus. Keywords
