Abstract
A rapid synthesis of Nω‐[18F]fluoroacetylserotonin (Nω‐[18F]fluoroacetyl‐5‐hydroxytryptamine) starting from [18F]fluoride and ethyl p‐toluensulfonyloxyacetate is described. The total time required for its synthesis is ca. 90 min. The radiochemical yield, purity, and specific activity (end of bombardment) of the desired hormone are 13.5%, >98%, and 600 mCi/μmol, respectively. This publication has 6 references indexed in Scilit:
