Abstract
The formation of glucuronide of anthranilic acid by tissue slices of the rats is remarkably high with duodenum, liver and kidney. The glucuronic acid conjugation by liver is greatly accelerated by the addition of 0.02 [image] glycogen or glucose-1-phosphate, and slightly promoted by 0.02 [image] lactate; but it is strongly inhibited by 0.02 [image] glucuronic acid, glucose and adenosine triphosphate. Keywords
