Abstract

Upon ligand field excitation (300 nm-370 nm irradiating wavelengths) aqueous Fe(CN)₅CO^3- underwent a photosubstitution under release of CO and formation of Fe(CN)₅H₂O^3- with the quantum yield 0.9.
