ZUR ELEKTRODENANORDNUNG BEI DEN REGISTRIERUNGEN BIOELEKTRISCHER POTENTIALSCHWANKUNGEN DER HIRNRINDE

Abstract
Electrodearrangement for recording changes of the bioelectric potentials of the brain. 1. By leading off from the widely exposed surface of the brain the recorded potential picture is independent of the position electrode, though with different positions of the indifferent electrode parts of the brain which differ morphologically as well as bioelectrically come to lie between the electrodes. 2. The potential picture recorded with bipolar leads is equal to the difference of the 2 unipolar curves when taken at the corresponding spots of the brain surface with bipolar leads. 3. Even "Krampf-stroeme" which are elicited between the 2 lead-off electrodes cannot be recognised as spreading and being picked up under ordinary conditions. Finally the findings are discussed briefly.
