Abstract
Acid rain and atmospheric deposition have become dominant features of man-induced changes in the chemical climate of the earth. Detrimental effects predominate in many aquatic ecosystems, but the balance between beneficial and harmful effects in terrestrial systems remains uncertain.Keywords
