Abstract
Hypercalcemic nephropathy produced in rats by vitamin D impaired renal conservation of potassium and the ability of the kidneys to excrete ammonium after acid loading. It is suggested that renal potassium-wasting and renal tubular acidosis may be acquired as a result of hypercalcemia and hypercalciuria. This publication has 22 references indexed in Scilit:
