Abstract
A new metabolite, isolated from cultures of a Cryptosporiopsis sp., is shown to be (1R,5S)-2-cyclopentene-1-carboxylic acid, 2-trans-allyl-3-chloro-1,5-dihydroxy-4-oxo methyl ester.
