Abstract
Two biologically active substances for Felidae animals, i.e., actinidine, C10H13N, b.p. 100-103[degree]C/9mm., [[alpha]]11D -7.2[degree] (chloroform), and matatabilactone, C10H16O2, b.p. 106-109[degree]/ 2mm., [[alpha]]28D + 31.9[degree] (chloroform) were isolated from the leaves and gall of Actinidia polygama MIQ., and their chemical structures were studied. The former new alkaloid was shown to be 6,7-dihydro-4,7-dimethyl-5(H)-2-pyrindine and the latter monoterpene - lactone was estimated to have the structure of dilydionepelalactone. This publication has 6 references indexed in Scilit:
