Abstract
THE clinical impression that some types of pneumonitis may be caused by individual hypersensitivity to molds or their products has received increasing attention in recent years.1 , 2 The exact role of molds, dust and individual susceptibility, however, is not fully understood. "Farmer's lung" is thought to be caused by a reaction of this type, but bagassosis and "mushroom-grower's disease" may also be related to such a phenomenon.In the following case of pneumonitis we were able to demonstrate a rare and unusual mold to be the causative agent.Case ReportA 20-year-old man was first seen in March, 1961, complaining of . . .Keywords
