Abstract
An active power filter that uses an impressed current converter and an inductive-capacitive energy storage circuit is presented. This storage includes a switching section to interface the inductive and capacitive element. This solution allows independent choice of the converter configuration and of the type of storage system which, in this particular case, is mainly capacitive. The theory of operation is analyzed, together with control strategy and design criteria. Experimental results are reporteKeywords
