Abstract
Data and interpretation are presented for inelastic electron scattering in the quasielastic region from nine target nuclei ranging from lithium to lead at an incident energy of 500 MeV and a scattering angle of 60°. The average kinetic and separation energies of nucleons in these nuclei are deduced. Results of and comments on the radiative correction procedures used in the data analysis are also discussed. Keywords
