Abstract
We report a case indicating that acquisition of multidrug-resistant human immunodeficiency (HIV) virus type 1 during preexposure prophylaxis with combination tenofovir disoproxil fumarate and emtricitabine or evolution of resistance after HIV seroconversion remains a risk.Keywords
