Abstract
Eighty patients who underwent minor gynaecological surgery were anaesthetised with either incremental propofol or incremental methohexitone after an opioid premedication. The group anaesthetised with propofol had significantly fewer emetic sequelae and the results suggest that propofol has a definite antiemetic action. Keywords
