Abstract
Space amplified eigenvalues of a finite difference version of the Orr‐Sommerfeld equation have been calculated for Blasius mean flow. If the primary mode is unstable, the remaining eigenvalues in the fourth quadrant of the c plane lie close to a curved line.Keywords
