PSEUDO-SEXUAL-PRECOCITY; THE ADRENAL CORTICAL SYNDROME IN PREADOLESCENT GIRLS

Abstract
A case is reported of a 2-yr.-old girl who showed numerous masculine characteristics and precocity. Summing up her condition 2 yrs. after removal of a carcinomatous adrenal cortical tumor, it may be said that there was definite improvement from an endocrine standpoint as evidenced by complete dropping out of pubic hair, diminution in size of clitoris and in slowing up of growth and osseous precocity. The child was in good health. Literature is reviewed.
