Abstract
Vitamin A was rapidly oxidized by air when dissolved in acetic, lauric, stearic, or oleic acid, in ethyl stearate, and ethyl oleate. It was stable in ethyl alcohol, n-butyl alcohol, 20% alcoholic KOH and ethyl acetate. In ethyl alcohol, it was stable toward H2O3.This publication has 8 references indexed in Scilit:
